This guide is for event organizers and team members who manage events on MeetPure Events.

Overview

MeetPure Events offers two check-in approaches:

  • Manual: Export CSV attendee lists from Ticket Orders page (always available)

  • Smart: Add staff who scan QR codes with mobile app (requires enablement)

Both methods let you view check-in status, track attendance, and export data for analysis.


Part 1: Manual Check-In

Available to all organizers - no enablement required

Export CSV from Ticket Orders and use printed/digital lists for check-in. Best for small to medium events.

Access Ticket Orders

  1. Log in to MeetPure Events

  2. Click Manage My Events

  3. Click on your event title from the list of events

  4. From the left sidebar navigation, click Publish section

  5. Click Ticket Orders sub-menu item

  6. You'll see the list of all ticket orders for your event

Export Attendee List

The Ticket Orders page has an Export dropdown button in the top right:

  • Tickets List - Downloads a CSV file with attendee name, email, order ID, ticket section, ticket number, purchase date, and any custom field responses

  • Orders List - Downloads a CSV file with order-level information

How to Use the CSV for Manual Check-In

Download the Tickets List CSV and use the spreadsheet on a computer or print it to verify attendees at your event entrance.


Part 2: Smart Check-In

Not available by default. Contact support@meetpure.events to enable.

For larger events, smart check-in lets you instantly find, scan, and check in attendees using the web interface (computer/tablet) or dedicated mobile app. Perfect for multiple entrances, high-volume events, or when you need real-time check-in tracking.

Understanding the Difference

Team Members = Organizers and team admins who already have full access to your event

  • Can view all order details, financial data, and attendee information

  • Can check in attendees from Ticket Orders page

  • Already part of your team in MeetPure Events

Check-In Staff = External helpers you add specifically for check-in only

  • Limited access - can ONLY scan QR codes and search attendees

  • Cannot see financial data, export lists, or modify event details

  • Receive temporary credentials via email

  • Perfect for volunteers, venue staff, or temporary helpers

About the MeetPure Events Check-In App

What is it? A dedicated mobile app for check-in staff to scan QR codes at event entrances. Staff can quickly scan attendee tickets, search by name, and mark check-ins in real-time.

Note: The mobile app is available for check-in staff only. Team members use the web-based Ticket Orders page to check in attendees.

Where to get it?

  • Android: Available now - visit meetpure.events/checkin-app for download link

  • iOS: Coming soon (currently Android only)

  • No Android device? Use the Web Check-In portal (works in any browser)

How it works:

  1. Staff receives email with QR code and login link

  2. Open app and scan the QR code from email OR enter credentials manually

  3. App shows your event and ready to scan attendee tickets

  4. Scan attendee's ticket QR code → instant check-in confirmation

  5. Search by name/email if attendee can't find their ticket

Why use the app?

  • ✅ Faster scanning with device camera

  • ✅ Optimized for mobile devices

  • ✅ Simple interface - just scan and go

  • ✅ Available for check-in staff only

Web Portal Alternative: If staff don't have Android devices, they can use the Web Check-In portal link from their email. Works on any phone/tablet/computer with a browser.

Option A: Team Members Check In

Who: Organizers and team admins with full event access

How to Check In:

  1. Go to PublishTicket Orders (web interface only - no mobile app for team members)

  2. Click on any order ID

  3. Click "Check in" on individual tickets or "Check in all" for the order

  4. System records check-in with timestamp

When to Use: Small teams, single entrance, or when organizers handle check-in directly.

Option B: Dedicated Check-In Staff

Who: Limited-access helpers (volunteers, venue staff, etc.)

How to Add Staff:

  1. Go to PublishCheck-In Staff

  2. Click Add Check-In Staff

  3. Enter name, email, phone (optional)

  4. Staff receive email with QR code and web portal link

Staff Check-In Process:

  1. Staff opens MeetPure Events app (Android only for now) or web portal

  2. Scan attendee's ticket QR code

  3. System confirms check-in and records who checked them in

Staff Permissions: Can only scan QR codes and search attendees. Cannot view financial data or export lists.

Managing Staff: View activity, resend credentials, or delete access from Check-In Staff page.

When to Use: Multiple entrances, large events, or when you need helpers without full access.

Get the App: Visit meetpure.events/checkin-app to download the Android app.

Q: Can multiple staff check in simultaneously? A: Yes, all check-ins sync in real-time across all devices.

Q: Can I add staff during the event? A: Yes, go to PublishCheck-In Staff, add them, and they receive credentials via email immediately.

Q: Where do I download the mobile app? A: Visit meetpure.events/checkin-app for the Android app download link. Currently available for Android only (iOS coming soon). Staff without Android can use the Web Check-In portal link from their email.

Q: Can I export attendee list with check-in status? A: Yes, export Tickets List CSV from PublishTicket OrdersExport dropdown.

Q: What if an attendee lost their ticket QR code? A: Search Ticket Orders by name/email and check them in manually from the order detail page. Staff can also search by name/email in their app.
